Is it possible to change all persistent cookies to be session cookies? I am deploying on a government website and policy prohibits any persistent cookies due to overly paranoid people..

Hi Superbiff,

You can set visible=false in the InstantASP:CheckBox tag of the logoncontrol.ascx as shown below:

<InstantASP:CheckBox id="ckbRememberMe" visible=false checked=false
     Text="LogonControl_RememberMe"
     runat="server"/>

Thanks for the reply. We're not using the checkbox you speak of (We're using our own login form that taps into the InstantForum APIs); the cookies in question are appearing once I go to any forum page, for example:

IASP_IsActive (expiry ~5.5 hours) on the main forum page
IF_LastVisit (expiry ~1 year) when clicking the Control Panel

etc
