I may have asked this question before, but couldn't find any reference to it in the forums. My company is currently in the research phase of making a CRM purchase. We're already InstantForum.NET customers and are quite happy with the product. Since most CRM solutions have a customer facing component, it would make sense for us to maintain continuity by deploying another InstantASP product.

Do you have a CRM solution in the works? If so, do you have a timeline for delivery? I realize those are sensitive questions, but those answers sure would help me in my selection process.

Dear WebMonkey,

We are pursuing several avenues in the development of new products, including a CRM solution. Unfortunately, it is just in gestation and we cannot commit to having such a product available within a certain time frame.

Is CRM some form of portal solution? Having said that, has anyone successfully implemented a single sign on solution with any portal solution?

With the help of InstantASP, we have successfully turned the Forum and KB in to our own little CRM.  We did this by simply creating a DB process that checks user levels in Onyx to those in the InstantASP table.  If they own our product, they are able to see certain parts of the site...
