This has to do with Article Attachments, and how files are saved in the wwwroot\kb\attachments directory. Is their any way to avoid the random GUID number from becoming part of the saved file, or any way to build a x-ref so when the user save the file the original name will persist during the save.

Dear Jeff,

You should alter the ReturnUniqueFileName function of the utilities class. Or remove it from the Upload_Click method in the admin/attachments.aspx.vb file.
