Ok, here is another crazyw idea, by the Bare man I intend to allow rock n roll bands, to have a forum, on my website... This is why sub-forums & forum specific skinning were so important to me, for the v4.0 release. Well, now that I'm testing and playing around with RC1... I just realized that offering a forum specific calendar would be a huge feature/benefit, for the bands that would potentially have a forum. Not only could they use it as... well... a forum... but they could also use it as their show schedule and so on... within the forum specific calendar... I know, it's pretty wild... and would probably only be applicable in my specific situation... but I'm thinking it.. So, I'm posting it... Thanks for listening... once again...

| Nope.. you're not the only one Bare.. I run a chat site and it would be a huge benefit to me too... I have different categories of chat.. i.e. Family, Teen, Adult etc. and it would be nice to have separate calendars for each section (forum) so I can lock out the teens from seeing the Adult etc. I figured I'd probably make this a custom tweak myself once I got my hands on the code.. but sounds like others would like that feature too.

| Someone suggested earlier that the calendar itself actually be a forum, such as other sites do, so that you could post replies to the events etc. It would seem that this would be one way to solve your dilemma, becaue if the the calendar was just a special type of forum, you could limit it to user groups just like a regular forum. Just my 2 cents

Yea.. that does make sense Jimmy... that'd be awesome on my site... each chat room could have it's own forum and a sub forum for a calendar of events...

Just bumping this... would love to see it within an upcoming v4.x release
