| On 4.1.4 RC1 the Private Message Pop-Up Notification acts goofy. It works sometimes, but other times it does not. Can anyone else confirm this?

| Hi Bare, Hope your well. I've just resolved our last know issue with the spell checker not working correctly when InstantForum.NET was hosted within a sub directory of a web application. This has now been resolved and we are in the process now of our own internal testing with v4.1.4. We are expecting the final release today. I'll be looking at this as part of this testing and will confirm here ASAP if i find anything. As always many thanks for your feedback Bare you know it's greatly appreciated

| Hey Bare, I've been looking into this and it appears to be behaving as expected. You will receive the prompt every so often (depending on the Manage Setttings / Forum Settings / Unread Message Prompt Interval setting) providing the last private message you received is after your current last visit date. So in theory you should only receive the prompt once for every new PM you receive however if you stay in the same session for say 30 minutes and the Unread Message Prompt Interval setting is set to say 10 minutes you will receive the prompt every 10 minutes within that 30 minute session. The moment you close your browser and start a new session your last visit date is updated and as the private message is now older than your new last visit date you won't receive the prompt again until you receive a new private message that is newer than your last visit date. I hope that makes sense. You say this is not appearing when you expect it to. Are you expecting the prompt appear all the time at the Unread Message Prompt Interval if you have not read any PM even if this PM is older than your last visit date and you could of choose to ignore it? Any further information you can provide Bare is welcome

| I'm pretty sure I've had it multiple times where I opened my browser and went to my forum.. and then after I while I noticed I had unread PM's... and it had been hours since my browser was closed and re-opened to the forum? I'll check this out a little closer.
