It allows createing topics with duplicate subject and that creates problem in differenciating both from the list.

It has one bug along with that. e.g. if you create a topic with subject "Test 1" on 25-Sep-2006. Now some anouther /same user creates topic with same title "Test 1" on 27-Sep-2006. The created date for the first topic will be changed from 25-Sep-2006 to 27-Sep-2006.
