I have not been able to figure out how to pin a topic, unless you set up the forum as moderated. If the forum is live instantly, I have not been able to pin a topic.
Can someone help me figure out how to pin a topic without making the forum a moderated forum?

How quickly one has trouble recalling how to do this, now that we are on v4.0!
I think that you have to use the moderator CP | Manage Posts (on the left) and find the post that started the topic you want to pin. Scroll down to the bottom and you have a choice between Announcements and Pinning.
I think ...

| Good Afternoon, I puchased the licence and reskinned InstantASP for use, but I am having a hell of a time finding the CSS file with the code to change the following title
It's the "Pinned Topics" and "Forum Topics" titles I need changed to a different color. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Dear Nooblet, You can change the \skins\classic\controls\ViewTopics.ascx file in the label tag below: <InstantASP:Label id="lblSubHeader" CssClass="SmallBoldGrayText" runat="Server"/>

| Hi I have worked this out. If you want to pin topics without moderating a forum/s. Go to "Manage Moderators" - add the "Admin" or "A User" and make them a moderator, leave the forum selections as blank so it affects all forums and then in the permissions, select the "mass pin"/"mass unpin" option. Goto the forum and voila! Thanks Ant
