Your products are appealing but your purchase method is a bother. I do not really want to be anybody's paypal. It is so easy to transparently do online credit card transactions why would you take a processor as a business partner?

I think you ought to reconsider using paypal, as it is very safe, once you have entered your credit or debit card details you wont ever have to do it again, you just have to log on, therefore you aren't open to card fraud by risking key loggers reading your card details as you enter them. it is free, in 5 years of using them I have never had one problem, and that is handy when you are using ebay and have to pay using a different currency, they take care of the conversion and any extra tax you may have to pay. at least take a good look at the site and ask if you don't fully understand how it works. you don't have to be a seller to have one. they will want to put a pound in your account just to prove that it is an active account, you do have to give it back to them using paypal. it just proves its your account. good luck what ever you choose.
