I'd like to be able to edit, delete or add posts to my own unmoderated posts.  This helps when I make a post then realise I've made a mistake or have found the answer.

Hi Giles,

You can do this at the moment. Once you have posted an edit option is available next to your post. You can edit your post by clicking this button. You can not delete the first post in a thread. New threads can only be removed by administrators using the options within manage posts in the admin area.

Administrator and moderator posts are automatically approved within moderated forums as it's assumed these don't need moderating. This was a big request from users of v2.2 as administrators previously had to approve there own posts resulting in lots of wasted time.

If i've misunderstood your comments please let me know

I don't think that's quite what I meant - I should have said un approved posts  if I made a post in a moderated forum I cannot see my own posts until the moderator has approved them.  If I could then when I realise that I've made a mistake/ said something stupid/ found the answer then I could edit or delete my own post before the moderator has approved it.  For example I think I posted something in the instantforum installation forum but you haven't approved it yet.  I'd like to check it.  It's fair enough not having access to other peoples unapproved posts but I should have access to my own.

Hi Giles,

Point taken. Great suggestion. I'll certainly see what i can do for a future release. Thank you for the clarification and suggestion. This sounds like a great idea and is certainly possible. I look forward to starting work on this
