When you try to upload an image for your article, the restrictions are upload image file types (gif, jpg, png, bmp) and with size lower than 200 KB, but ikb only allow to upload gif file type.

If you change the setting "Image Upload Extensions" in Admin CP / Settings / Knowledgebase to "jpg, gif, jpeg, bmp, png" instead of "gif, jpg, jpeg, bmp, png", IKB only allows jpg images. This can be tested if you change the setting and try to create an article.
