Please help! i have configured member groups not to be able to edit their own or anyone else's posts, yet when i log in as a member the button to do so appears.  it is only when i click on it am i told that i don't have permission to perform the task (which is correct according to my configuration) - is there anyway we can hide disabled functions such as "edit" and "attachments"??

Dear guudles,

In the present version we don't have such a feature what but if you want this functionality hidden from all users, you can set the atribute visible = false in the links or buttons you want to hide.  I will forward this message to our development department so that they can hide these buttons based on whether the user has permission to perform their actions or not.

Are we any further on this? I to would appreciate this option, it's very confusing for my users to get the login screen when they want to edit their post, only to login and not have it appear to work still.

It's not available in v4.1.4 but it is something we will be looking at for the next release.

I'll try to keep this topic updated.

Yes this is really a feature we want ! (Urgently).

I want to hide the delete, edit and add poll buttons.

I guess it i possible to change the VB-code and recompile the dll:s but I would prefer if the InstantForum staff did it.
