| Since the purpose of an administrator is that she has total control of the forum, it seems to me that administrators should automatically be able to moderate all posts on moderated forums even without being explicitly granted moderation privileges in that forum. If the administrator does not want to do all the moderation herself, then she delegates specific forums to be moderated by the moderators. But she shouldn't have to grant herself moderator privileges in all the forums; she should have them by virtue of being an administrator.

Dear Neas,
The structure of the InstantForum is that administrators administer system settings, they do not take an active role in moderating the dynamic content (the posts). Administrators create forums, set permissions, manage users, and other tasks that manage the system itself, not the content. They have total control over the forum, but do not take responsibility for the content unless they choose to give that responsibility to themselves. That was the reasoning by not adding administrator as moderators of new forums, however I am forwarding your request to our development department for consideration for the inclusion of the following functionality: configurable flag that indicates whether or not administrators are to be added by default as moderators of newly created forums.
