Forum Sort Order after Upgrade

After a v3.4 to v4.0 upgrade, my forums (within a category) do not retain their original sort order.

The last 2 upgrades that I've performed, the sort order values where all set to '24'???

Anyone else had this issue?

My forums were sorted very strangely - I had to go back into the admin and resort them to get everything back to normal.

I found the same issue after doing my upgrade from 3.4 but in my case, the order of my home page categories were set to the order in which I created them originally under 3.4, and all the topics within the forums were set with 0 as the order number, but again they were displayed in the order in which I created the topics.
