This may just be an ID-10-T error we're experiencing, but how can you assign a Member Group as a moderator of a forum, versus assigning each Member individually?

It's a bit more tricky than the standard set up. You need to create a permission set for the forum you want moderated. Then create a group for that forums moderators, give it the permission set you just created, and assign people to it through their secondary groups. Then in the Manage Forums, select the "Edit Permissions" (far right drop down) and assign that group to the moderators slot.

Hope this helped.

I'll give that a shot, thanks!

I would suggest that there be an option to choose a group in the "add forum moderator" section, in order to make this process much easier.

Hmm, well the limitation I see in this, is that you do not get the options available to Moderators (pin, move, delete, etc.). Am I missing something?

Tye, no you are not missing anything.  Currently there is no way to add a Group as a true moderator.  While what AlvistChicago has done is kinda a workaround, the permissions that can be set via the permission sets are NOT the same as the permissions that are set on each individual moderator (which can be narrowed down by forum).  We have asked Ryan for true Moderator Groups and he put it on the list.
