On the demo forum, right after the database has been refreshed... the forum stats are as follows:
"1 member has posted 0 posts within 1 topic."
Now, I'm just thinking out loud... but shouldn't a topic being created increase the topic count and the posts count? Since a topic has been created.... and the persons text/input is the post???
The way it currently is... the 'posts' count will never increase until a reply is created within a topic.. (the initial information is not being considered a posting)
Not really a bug... but I noticed this awhile back & just noticed/thought of it again today...
Anyone have any opinions on this???

Dear Bare, This is something you can change in the Resources.xml files.

Well, I looked into the .xml file... and I could most certainly change how the stats are worded... but I can not change how the forum counts the posts / topics.
I think the wording is fine... I just think that when a topic is created... the topic count and the post count should increase by a value of 1 (since a topic was created and a posting was created)...
The way it currently works (in the board stats area) is that 'replies' are the only events which are increasing the post count. Not the original text when the topic was created.
but... this is just my opinion... (which is sometimes a little crooked )... and I'm really crappy at explaining some of these things...
Any other opinions?
