| Created a sub forum and there is no drop-down box on the bottom left for thread moderation. Is there something I need to do on my end or is this a bug?

As I understand it, even when you import settings from a Parent to a Child Forum, this does not include the moderators. So you simply need to update your moderators to add them to the sub forum.

| Hi Allen, Also when editing the moderator account for a specific forum you can propagate the moderator options for that account to all child forums. We've recently made some progress with the documentation which may assist with your some questions... http://downloads.instantasp.co.uk/40documentation.zip (16.7mb) This is not final documentation but it should assist with the administrator options. Hope this helps,
 Kindest Regards,

| Thanks Ryan - I'm downloading it now. Is there no better way to add mods to a specific forum than one at a time? It would be much better if there was a dropdown list from which one could select the mods to add to a forum rather than create the "Add Moderator" sheet for each moderator in each forum.

| Ryan, Maybe it would be a good idea to change the drop down box, to a list box where you can select more than one forum. The current method works great for changing a moderator and applying the settings to all forums, or all of a group (the child thing), but if you have a moderator who is a mod only on certain boards that are scattered it can get very cumbersome to change things. Maybe something like what you have on the edit Forum page where you select the groups that have access to the forum.

Hi Ryan,
Did this get implemented within RC3?
If so, could you give a little description of where it is and how it works?
Thanks

Hi Bare / Jimmy, Sorry this did not make it into RC3. This will however be available with either the next release candidate or final release. Information will be added within the user guide once this feature is available
