Hello Ryan,

is there any way to include option of persons gender within Personal Details. This is very important 'cause in most languages, as it's in my native Bosnian language, there is a big difference with verbs. We have 7 different verbs and you need to know someones gender when you are addressing to him/her.

Let say, if I'm interested in your gender I can't find it in your personal details. The only way to do that is to ask you, or to search forum for post where you are telling that you like hot girls, football and fast cars

It would be very useful to see users gender next to the username when you're reeding their posts. At least it should be visible in users profile

Can somebody give me the answer please?

This is a simple option and very easy to add within profile, but it's very useful for those who are using IF in countries where english isn't native language...

Hi Adnan,

We plan to provide the ability to include custom profile fields within an early v4.x release. Unfortunately this is not something that will make it into the final v4.0 release.

It would not be to tricky to add this as a profile option once the final code is made available. I would not suggest doing this currently with the release candidates as updating to the final version will erase any custom fields you've added. We won't be including a gender field for the final v4.0 release (we are attempting to finalize the database) however it's something we'll certainly consider for early v4.x release. I suspect however the a Gender option will only be available within the official release once custom profile fields are supported.

I'd be happy to help once v4.0 is available with regards to adding a gender option.

Kindest Regards,
