Having stared at and altered and then made back to normal the CSS for the classic skin, I can't for the life of me find which line is responsible for the background image. In the case of these forums, the very thin horizontal lines behind everything else - am I looking in the right place?

Cheers

Hi Tenacious,

There isn't one

That is outside the scope of the forum. In this websites situation, the forum is encased in a mastertemplate within the skin. The header images, main navigation bar & background horizontal lines are within this mastertemplate page.

Are you using masterpages or wrappers in your site -or- is the forum just taking up the entire page?

The white part on this forum is actually what can be set in the .css file... I'll take a look and find the css classes..

I know... I didn't explain this very well.. but I hope it helps...

Hi Bare

I have fiddled with the wrappers not the master template.  Now I know where to look, that's great

Cheers

In the stylesheet, just find the body tag.  Or add an inline style in your master template or wrapper:

body{

    background-image: url(blah.jpg);

}

Yeah, should probably do both...     it will render that color for a split second before the image, depending on the speed.
