| Hey all, I noticed that here when you visit a forum (for example this Skins, Customization's & Translations forum), the layout has 6 colums for Topic Icons, Title, Started By, Replies, Views and Last Post. I've recently setup a new forum (version 4.1.2) and I'm not seeing the same layout in my forum. I might be missing something simple here, but this is the standard setup and I've only changed the skin to customize it for my site. Here is the link to my board and directly to a forum with two test topics posted by me: http://www.warrengene.com/forums/Forum3-1.aspx You'll see the topic, then a dashed line with Started By, Replies and Views. How can I switch this layout to the same style as used here in these forums? Regards - Warren

Hi warble,
There are 2 skins that come with InstantForum v4.1.2 ("Classic Skin" and "Liquid Violet"...) It seems that the skin that you have customized is the "Liquid Violet" skin. This skins layout is quite a bit different than the 'classic skin'.
This forum by default runs the 'classic skin'...
At the bottom of the main forum page you can change this particular forum to the 'Liquid Violet' skin. Then you will see that the skin will look like yours...

| Thanks once again, Bare. That's exactly what I did before checking the skin thoroughly. I figured the icons changed, but didn't look at the whole thing - oops. I transferred my modified style sheet (I changed based on the new Liquid skin) over and am using the Classic Skin, and most everything seems to be OK with it. I know there were a few new things added, but I like the classic layout. Thanks again - Warren P.S. Thanks on the skin colors. Not real "lively", but I like the "earthy" type tones and it will certainly fit my site. I checked out your site too - I like what you did with the dark colors. Sets a great mood for your forum.

Just thought you might like to know...I assume you're talking about http://www.warrengene.com/? The navigation (home, bio, media, etc.) works for me here in Firefox 1.0. What are you seeing? Hope it's OK to ask that here...don't want to deviate from this topic too much. Warren
