Occassionally, we have unrulely members which we must prevent access to the website for a short period of time.

Would it be possible to assign a TEMPORARY permission level to a member? Something where we could give them a set of permissions (such as read only) and a tag that identifies them as temporarily banned. Nothing fancy -- the existing permission sets would work perfectly. That way we could just use the member level image and assign them read only privs.

Thanks for the consideration.

Sure.. just create a new permission set... assign the member to it and then take them back out when you're done putting them in Time Out

Im hoping that in an upcoming release we can assign an image to a permission group as well and automate it.

I know I can do that now, and we are, but it requires us to remember to go back and change it manually later. For a large forum, this can be a mega pain LOL
