You should try putting a standard html document into the directory and put that into the adress bar. It sounds like IIS isn't set up to run on a different port, or a firewall is blocking it.

Port

Hi,

We are in the process of moving InstantKB to a new server and new port. The existing site is running as a virtual directory under port 80 and the new site is running as a separte website on port 86. When browsing to the new location the url constantly picks up the port location resulting in 404 messages, ie http://testhost:86

Can InstantKB be run outsite of port 80?

Thanks

Barry
