I've had plans to add additional authentication methods for some time and of course Active Directory is top of that list. I'm hoping to begin work on revisions to the knowledge base this month and will certainly investigate the possibility of AD authentication. I'm sure this would be quite simple with .NET

Please keep an eye on the site over the coming months for any further information. Once this is supported it will be announced in the new features list on the homepage. If you signup to our newsletter you will also be informed this way. Any further questions please don't hesitate to contact me

Active Directory support or LDAP sync

First of all congratulations on already excellent product.

I was wondering if you have any plans to port InstantKB security to support Active Directory, NTLM security or have some sort of mechanism to sync AD users and roles with your custom SQL db users and roles.

For example I'd like to use InstantKB, or InstantForum, on the intranet but dont' want to maintain a separate users db.
