Giving the .aspx extension is no problem, but I doubt that rss allows the querystring.

I suspect that the control that generates the rss buttons will need to be modified to output the rss+xml link as well.

I'm planning to try this because I had a user ask for it - not top of my list to work on though.

Hi,
I had a question regarding RSS for InstantForum.NET. Is there a way to use Firefox's Live Bookmark native reader with the forum tool?

When I add the html code:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Test RSS" href="/rssfeed.aspx?id=5&Task=ForumRSS">

and try to create a "Live Bookmark", I get an error show up when I go to the bookmark created.

Is this because Firefox expects a direct reference to an .xml or .rdf file and the forum code dynamically returns xml to the .aspx page?
