I have the same problem. In fact, the button "Basic Search" should be an [b]hyperlink[/b], because clicking on it implies searching the forum, while it goes to another search page.

Huh. I think I know the issue. I was pressing ENTER. Enter defaults to the "Basic Search" button for some reason. That's bad. Seems to me the "Search Forum" button should be to the left of the "Basic Search" button, and the "Search Forum" button should be the default.

Advanced Search Quirk

Scenario:

* Search -> Advanced Search
* Fill in a UserName and select a forum(s).
* Do not fill in a keyword
* Click Search

You will return to an advanced search page but it will only have the Keywords box available. No error warning or anything... IMO, it should perform the search without keywords because you have other criteria selected (i.e. UserName). It would be nice to be able to use Keyword, Username, or both in a search.

After further testing, the same issues occurs if neither of the top boxes are selected.
