Many thanks for your post and welcome to our forum :)
Just installed the application yesterday, took me a while but finally managed to do it.
I am hosting it with dailyrazor.com
I'm sorry to hear this Cristobal. I'm currently working on detailed installation documentation which should be available before the end of this week within our own knowledgebase. This will hopefully help ease any pain in the short term.

With the previous version we did offer a MSI based installer. Looking ahead we do of course intend to offer a automated installation option. We've previously used MSI based wizards however there are some things we want to ensure are supported with future MSI such as the ability to choose the installation path and the option to select which web site to install into within IIS.

Exception Message: Invalid object name 'InstantASP_Users'.

I've not seen this before Cristobal. The table name is certainly correct. If other areas of your knowledgebase are also working this suggests your connection string is correct so should be point to a InstantKB.NET 2.0 database that does actually contain the InstantASP_Users table. Would it be possible to access your installation Cristobal to take a quick look and see if we can determine what could be causing this. If you have access to our ticketing system you can open a support ticket with your login details etc or if you prefer send me a email directly on ryan@instantasp.co.uk I'll certainly try to help,

Invalid object name 'InstantASP_Users' error

Hi there,

My first post, and happy to be part of the KB2o community.. ;)

Just installed the application yesterday, took me a while but finally managed to do it.
I am hosting it with dailyrazor.com

1) So far I have managed to add Tabs, custom fields, Categories but I am getting this error when trying to upload an article or download.

Exception Type: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException
Exception Message: Invalid object name 'InstantASP_Users'.
Exception Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Exception Target Site: OnError

Any ideas what am I missing out?
looking foward for your reply,
Cristobal
