That particular move feature is unlikely to be implemented in the product as a base offering. Forums are about structured flowing discussion in designated threads/topics, if you can jumble the posts up, the linear nature of discussion is lost. However, users with developers licenses are of course fully able to implement this themselves.

Hi Dan,

This is planned. We are intending to move all moderator options (move, pin, close, delete) to utilize Ajax. We have already made a start on this for some moderation features within our v4.1 release due this week. This release will also fix around 26 bugs from the v4.0 release.

We've added the ability to merge / split topics to our feature tracking tool for an early v4.x release.
