I too have this problem at the moment, it's driving me mad. I suspect it's because the Admin member group doesn't have permission to access the forum. I'm trying to work out the db structure so I can assign it.

However, I noticed that if I leave the default forum there (InstantForum.net) my forums showed up in the admin page.

I add a forum category with a group, and the administrators group. Then I add a forum to the category with the same group to this. When I click on "Manage Forums", there is no category or forum in this list. When I add, I can see the list, and selected the category/forum to add under, but it doesn't show up in the manage section.

Am I doing something wrong?
