Good day,

I would like to appologize ahead of time if my questions seem foolish.  I am new at this and have run into a roadblock.

1st:  I am trying to change a few text colors but am finding out multiple pieces of text call on that same class.  Is there a way to make a new class (well, this seemed easy enough, simply copy and pasted then renamed the class) and have a certain piece of text link to that new class instead of the shared one it used to?

2nd: I would like to toss a small bit of html code in the header.  Basically just want to drop a logo in the top right of the forum.

Also, is there a page somewhere with links to other up and running forums using this software I might be able to look at?

Thank you in advanced for any help you can provide me.

Hi Nooblet,

1. Yes.. there are text areas that share common CSS classes.  To change this you'd have to modify the individual pages (to have these objects us a different class)...   Or I am unaware of a nicer solution... lol

2. For your header question... There are 2 options.  In the AdminCP you can create a wrapper, which is basically just some html code that encases the forum.  Or you can modify the mastertemplate.aspx page within the appropriate skin.  These are both discussed within the documentation.

3. Here is a forum, which lists some installed InstantForums : http://support.instantasp.co.uk/Forum65-1.aspx

I hope this helps.

Thank you for all your help.  I managed to find and change the text in the MainNavigation.ascx file.  Going to play around with wrappers now

Thanks again!
