After upgrading from 4.13 to 4.14, everything seemed to be working ok - however, all new users who tried to register would receive an error message upon completing registration, and on trying to sign in after that. After doing some research, it turns out the corresponding record for each account was not being created in the InstantForums_Users table. Manually creating the record would allow the account to sign in. The problem occured with every single registration - I had to roll back to 4.13 for now and fix the accounts that had no record in InstantForums_Users - definitely something you need to take a look at.

| Hi Cristiano, Many thanks for your post. I'm sry to hear about this problem. We did identify a problem with the beta which could prevent registration in some situations. We have now resolved this and of course it will be addressed with v4.1.4 final. We will be updating the BETA downloads within the My.InstantASP area today with the latest BETA builds. I'll confirm in this forum once the latest BETA is uploaded. Many thanks for taking the time to review v4.1.4. Sorry if we caused any frustration due to the roll back  (thankfully you had the foresight to backup). If you need anything further or have any questions/suggestions please don't hesitate to contact me,

We will be updating the BETA downloads within the My.InstantASP area today with the latest BETA builds. I'll confirm in this forum once the latest BETA is uploaded. Any word on the new Beta builds? (I know... I'm not very patient... lol)

Thank you for your response - just to clarify - will the resolution to this problem be in the updated beta that is supposed to be released today? I would like to try to continue with the beta, but obviously that is a pretty show stopping bug for a live site. Please confirm whether or not that bug has been resolve for this new beta release. | Hi All, I'm sincerely sorry about the registration problem. You are quite correct. This was due to some clean up code we added at the last minute. Basically it's attempting to dispose of a datatable when it's not been initialized. This has now been resolved. I've updated the BETA downloads this morning and new versions will now be available for download from your My Licenses Page. Sorry for any delay getting the updated BETA available. The updated BETA will resolve the registration bug and address a few other known issues from the previous BETA. I'll be creating a post right after this to announce the updated BETA downloads which will also include a list of changes/improvements/fixes for this release. If you have any questions or problems with the updated BETA don't hesitate to post here and i'll ensure any problems are addressed before final. As always many thanks to you all for your support and time working with the BETA. We are getting close now to a solid stable final release due to all your great feedback. I look forward to any further comments
