Hi, I am currently working on adding articles to our Knowledge Base using a piece of third party software, and need to work out what values to enter for the Skill level and the Suggested flag.

I have already worked out that a skill level of 0 relates to "No skill level specifed", so would a value of 1 equate to "Beginner", 2 to "novice" etc?

Also, what does the suggested flag actually relate to? With a value of 0 it still publishes the "Suggested by" name, can it just always be set to 0, or does it need to change if there is an email address included too?

Many thanks for your help.

Tom

Thanks

Hi Tom,

I'm sorry about the delay.  The values for the Skill Level is in the \Configuration\ArticleLevels.xml file.  The Suggest flag is set to True when an article is created via ask a question area. If it's true, the user will receive a notification e-mail that his question were answered.

Great, that's exactley the kind of information I was after. Thanks Carlos
