I found the tags for the emails.xml file and found it useful to add the Forum Name and Topic Name to the notification emails.  However, it would also be beneficial if there was a way to show at least the first sentence or two of the post in the notification email.  This would make it easy for users to ignore the "Thanks" and "Good job" replies that are posted by other users.

I don't think adding the entire post is what we want, since we still want the "stickyness" of the forum to be intact.  So, if it's easy to see that the post was just a cordial reply to another post, it alleviates the need to go to the forum.

Thanks!

Hi,
This is perfectly possible, but would require some code customisations, do you have a developer license? If so this customisation can be made in the code, email Support@InstantASP.co.uk or open a support ticket for advice on how to do this, but as I say, it's only possible with a development license.

Kindest Regards,
