Error Creating Control- MasterPage

I installed 414 using installshield and all went without errors.

I then opened the project in VS 2005 and migrated it using the vs wizard.

Now when I open the default.aspx ( or any aspx files) i get this error:

Error Creating Control- MasterPage

ID property is not specified.
