Everyone likes to make sure we dont have kiddies on the board for liability reasons (hence all the boards asking if you're 13 or older) and its always good for an admin to know the average age of the user base.

So, how about adding a birthday field in the db and adding it as part of the registration?

I plan to date birthday selection and age checks - i've just purchased ActiveUp's DateTime control to use within the application. This will allow reliable date selection. I plan to add calendar features, birthday announcements the works basically. It just all takes time - one day oh ya
