Hi Derek, Thank you for your post. The forum groups and forums are not showing because they need to-be associated with some user roles. Within the administration area click "Manage Permissions" and select "Group Permissions" for each forum group you have created. Associate the following user roles to the forum group - "Guest / Anonymous" and "Forum Members". The permissions you apply to a root forum group will propagate to all child forums. You can also control access to each forum within a forum group by using the "Edit Permissions" link again on the "Manage Permissions" page.
 Kindest Regards,

I'm also having an issue with getting the forums I've created to show up. Any time that I attempt to user "admin cp -> manage groups -> preferences" I get bounced to the defualt page with the querystring "default.aspx?timedout=true" is this an installation problem? Thanks --bwp

Hi BWP, It sounds like the correct permissions are not applied to the forum group or specific forum within the forum group. Do you have a URL i would be happy to login to your admin area and setup a basic framework to demonstrate the permissions I look forward to your response,
