I did a search for this topic before posting, but found nothing addressing this issue. When adding new forums, some of them intermittently allocate twice the vertical spacing as others. I have gone in to the forum name and description fields multiple times and ensured there were no extra spaces or returns in the fields, but this problem persists. It's not a functional problem, just a form problem. In other words, it just doesn't look good. Any pointers for squaring this away?

Hi JR, Thank you for your post. It looks like the WYSIWYG used for entering the forum description is adding paragraph breaks. Before you submit and save a new forum just switch to HTML mode within the forum description editor and remove any <p></p> tags surrounding your description. This should fix the problem. I've been looking into ways to fix this but it seems very much by design - i'll certainly post more information if i find anything. Its only a minor problem and just requires the <p></p> tags be removed. I hope this helps
