Ryan,

New customer here.    I intend to upgrade to the Dev license in a week, so maybe I can sneak a question in here.

What is your attitude/policy towards add-ons, etc. for the system?  I'd like to try my hands at some value-added pieces without modifying the core (if possible) code, since I have a need for some functionality.

I don't plan to resell or redistribute any of these things, but perhaps they would have value to you... or maybe, they'll end up being crap.

Anyway, just fishing for comments.

Thanks!

*Phil

Hi Phil,

We have no problems with you enhancing the forums for your own personal needs. Your free to modify and use 3rd party controls as you wish. We would certainly be interested in viewing any changes you may have performed. If we feel a feature is a great idea and upto standard this will be added to a release. We would of course negotiate some form of beneficial deal for yourself if any of your modifications made it into a release

Hope that helps and please keep me informed of any changes i'm always very interested

Kindest Regards,

Thank you Ryan, I'll upgrade in a week or so.  If I do anything remotely useful, I'll let you know!  I've only owned the app for two days and I'm already certain I don't need to do a return... and believe me, me buying software I haven't demo'd is quite rare.

See you on the boards!

Hi Phil,

Please keep me posted on any changes or ideas you have. Thank you for going with the software even though no trial is currently available. I realize this is a must for most people before purchasing software. Your trust is greatly appreciated. The next release of the knowledge base will allow for trial versions

All the best for now Phil, Any questions please just drop me a line i'm very happy to help
