The icon is with the "Browse" option... as using the browse button links to a file on the user's Hard Drive in which no one but that user can see...... and considering the amount of not-very-tech-savy people frequent message boards, seems like a huge source of a major headache.... It'd be nice to see a different image interface that makes more sense than the built in MSHTML one.

This has been resolved with the 1.3 release of the knowledge base (due soon). This fix will also be included with 3.5 of the forums allowing direct image uploading within posts as opposed to linking to images

Hi Sathish, Hope your well. You can view the image upload feature within the v1.3 demonstration of the knowledge base available within the private customer support forums As for release we have a number of items that must be addressed with v3.5 and so i cannot provide a ETA on this at the moment. The knowledge base will be released within the next couple of days. After this all the feedback and requests from users for the 3.5 release will begin. This will basically take as long as it takes to ensure this is correct. Of course we will move as quickly as possible but not to quickly that we miss anything or introduce problems Hope this helps
 Kindest Regards,

I am fine and hope the same with you Ryan. Thanks for the update. Hope we will have IF.NET3.5 soon. I will check the KB.NET preview. EDIT: I checked out the Preview. It's nice. But in case if the user decided to delete the file or cancel the message posting/or abruptly closes the browser, what we do. How to delete the file which is uploaded? ---- While checking the admin section in KB.NET 1.3 I tried editing the article (for Image uploading). There I tried Manage attachments. Which doesn't check null file (Even without a file, the submit works). I tried some junk characters, it also got uploaded successfully Please check out these. Null Checking seems to be missed in many places. Hope the feedback would help you.
