I am having trouble understanding the "mechanics" of what happens (or is suppose to happen) when I attempt to post a reply to a RSS post. Do you have a document that describes client and server setup/configuration issues to enable this feature? Do you recommend a specific reader client? The requirement we have is that Readers must be integrated with Outlook so a single message interface can be used to read and reply to RSS. Currently using IntraVnews. Mike

Hi Mike, Thank you for your post i hope your well. I think some misunderstanding of the RSS feeds may have taken place. The RSS feeds do not allow you to respond to posts within a reader as they are read-only for use within the syndication tools. We are investigating the possiblity of allowing responses to RSS feeds however at the moment you must click the link within the message preview and visit the forums to post a response. This is also required as you must be logged into the forums to post Hope this helps

Thank-you for your very fast response. Very impressive. Yes you are correct, its all about understanding the capabilities of RSS. Many RSS readers have buttons for posting replies. So can I assume that some RSS providers support this capability? Our members are road warriers who travel a lot. Looking for a solution to allow them to read and reply to posts when disconnected. Do you plan to offer this capability in the future? Alternatively many blogs and list servers support this capability (generally with integration to outlook where the reply is created as an offline e-mail then synced to server when connected again. Great product, nice work, should I wait for disconnected support or is it not on the planning horizon?

Hi Mike, Thank you for your kind words. I'll need to look at this a little further but we have received numerous requests from users who would like to post and reply to topics within an email client. # This is something that we are looking into however because of the technical implications and limitations of some users we need to carefully consider how we approach this. I'll have a look around tonight and see if any standards exist for rss replies Thanks again Mike for your kind words. I'm pleased you like the product,
 Kindest Regards,
