Dont recall if this was discussed but this feature is a good one... if anyone asside from an admin edits thier post, a line is added to the post that the user cannot mess with... "Edited by [name] at [time and date stamp]"
This informs all viewers that the material was changed and based on that time stamp they can tell if replies to the post were made before or after that change.
This is a convienence that helps with continuity and helps in forum argument resolution. By being able to tell that a user modified a post, admins and moderators can have a good chance at determining what as happening at a given time.
Hi Mark,
Thats certainly very easy however it's also been requested that any edited posts go through another level of moderation so i'm really not sure what todo. Looking around most forums just use your method. Any feedback from the community would be appreciated ? Should edits go through moderation again or should they just be marked as Mark suggested above
Maybe both ?
