Is there a way to add an image other than a message icon to the topic heading?

I want to setup a review site and have topics like digital cameras, DVD's, clothes and so on as individual topics or forums and have pictures next to the heading text so its more attractive to the eye.

Hi,

Unfortunately this is not currently possible. This is a great suggestion and has been added to the list for a future release. This will be a simple modification.

This feature can be certainly be provided to the administrators when approving posts. Would you like to see users with the ability to upload images for topic headers ? Maybe make the an option for administrators when creating the forum. Any further thoughts on how you would see this working would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any examples you could point me to ?

I look forward to your response,

Kindest Regards,

Thank you for the reply.

Basically I want to purchase your forum system and use it for a website I want to setup that will provide reviews that people can submit to.

I really want it like this site below but know I have to build something from scratch to achieve this, in the meantime your system has many more features than the free stuff out there.

It would be nice if you could switch on a rating style system like a mode of the forum that an administrator can apply.

People would have to fill-in certain things like a rating, pros and cons and few sentences describing their review.  I could then update/add a picture as necessary.

An example of the ideal site is below.

Thanks again for your time.

Hi Simon,

Thank you for your response. This sounds like a neat idea. I try to stay away from offering anything to specific however the idea of modules or plugins for the forum immediatly spring to mind.

Another idea i've been looking at is providing forum administrators the ability to define custom data fields within the admin to associate additional data with a post.

If you do attempt any modifications to better fit with what you require and run into any problems please don't hesitate to contact us
