This is just a thought, but since users will have the ability to delete attachments, would it be possible to add some text to the post stating that the attachment has been deleted? Maybe even say if you would like the attachment please email the poster? I was just thinking that if the attachment is an intricate part of the post, but has to be deleted for space reasons, people might want to know that it really was there to begin with.

Hi Jimmy, Another great suggestion. We'll need to think about this in a little detail. I doubt this will make it into the final v4.0.0 release. I'm trying to hold back on adding any large changes unless required due to a newly discovered bug or security exploit. This is certainly something we can add to the roadmap for a v.4.1.x release. Attachments are an area we are still looking to improve further. For example it would be great if attached images automatically shown thumbnails within the attachments area. Also we want to provide the ability further down the line to store attachments on the filesystem and not within expensive SQL Space. I'll keep everyone posted. Once we start looking at this i'll certainly be in touch

Oh yeah definately no need to add features to this release, I just figured I'd put it here instead of in the Feature Request forum for whatever reason. lol

Lol - A feature request forum for v4.x will be online once the final release is available Please do post suggestions - they may just get implemented if they are quick and simple and won't potentially have any knock on effects at this late stage.
