Hi folks. Fantastic job on the new release, looks like an incredible piece of work. An important feature that exists within my current forums is the ability to reply to a calendar event just like a topic. In fact, calendar events are very nearly identical to regular topics except they display a small calendar in the first post. If someone posts an event, this allows for incredible collaboration and coordination when folks can reply directly to it. As well, a calendar event can be posted to any number of different forums/categories...so that the event pertains to the particular category. Is this something that might be considered for v4.0's initial release? Or...am I completely missing this functionality already existing? Thanks!

Missed this post previously. Fantastic idea. I was wondering what to do with the Calendar as my lot never used this previously. The idea of linking in a post to a calendar entry and vice versa would be great. Currently we have to use a forum just for people posting events, not very good. I'd like to be able to post an event to the calendar and have it announced on the forums when the day arrives (or of course a week before, month before, day before etc depending on the nature of the events). Is this possible? Cheers. Liam

AH, good. I'm not alone. My thinking is to simply have an "Add Event" button alongside the "Add Poll" and "Add Topic" buttons. That makes the event just another "type" of topic with some added features, much like the Poll's are set up.

| Any thoughts on this from IASP? Is it going to be implemented, or at least considered? Any concept on release times? This is a pretty big requirement for my forums. Tons of events are collaborated on regularly...and without this we lose a substantial feature.

Hi AL, I am forwarding your message to our development department for consideration for inclusion in the functionality of a later version. Thank you very much for your suggestion and please do contact me with any further ideas that come to mind.
