| I believe this was an earlier posting, but I couldn't find it. Ever since I installed RC2, I've been unable to stay logged in. If I log in and check the 'remember me' checkbox... and then sit idle for awhile, I get logged off. Is this correct?

| As a general behavior, it is not the correct behavior. Looks like the cookie is expiring.

| I thought so to, but when I look at the cookie, it expires on 12/31/2019. The cookie from this forum, also expires on 12/31/2019 & this site remembers me. It's just weird... and very very annoying... It happens on my RC2 development installs & it happens on my productive RC2 forum... I've tried this on 2 different pc's at home & on some systems at work... It's all the same.. Login and check the 'remember me' checkbox... and awhile later.. you are logged off & the forum will not remember you... The next time I get logged off... I'm then going to look at the cookie, to see if it still exists or for some reason expired... I'll update in this thread...

I had this problem with RC2 - the way I solved it was by adjusting the forms authentication - originally in the web.config I had the path set to "forums/". I found by changing it to "/forums/" that the login problem went away.

| I'll take a look at this, although I've never modified the forms authentication code within IF's web.config. Thanks for the input..

| That would probably fix it. The default setting is "/" and would only work if the Forum was installed in the root of the site. Cristiano's didn't work originally because the existing / is a leading one. Bare since your's are at domain.com/forum then I bet "/forum/" would work for you. I think Ryan needs to update the web.config file with a notation that this needs to be changed and most people will never catch it.

Hmmmm... I wonder if this is also giving me my Integration problems:
http://support.instantasp.co.uk/Topic6774-37-1.aspx
If I change IF's to "/forum/"... and my website has "/"... that probably will not work... but then again.. it isn't working the way it is now anyway..
I'll keep you all posted...
I have a large night of development planned...
P.S. For those in the US.. have a great Memorial Day weekend!!!
