Hi!

I just bought the 4.0 Final forum, but really need a german version to use it on my live website.

Is anyone working on it or is there any beta translation?

Thanks

Thomas

You can create your own language pack for the forum.  Look in the help docs for detailed information.

Congratulate for the translation, but it is very badly translated sometimes.  One could do mine it would be made partly machine.

Well, some big sentences were translated via babelfish since there was a big pressure on finishing it. Besides that, the idea having the translation done in one big xml-file was - hrm - not so good, but wtf. I did 90% of the work in a lot of hours for you to have it free, so simply stfu and make it better (hehe)

Anyone some skins handy?

I am working on a language pack.

Features that will be included:

- Translation from the Main Strings (3981 Strings)
- COPPA-Registration
- IF-Codes (26 Codes)
- Bulk-Messages (I created 3 most used Messages)
- Standard-Forum Messages (14 Messages)
- Language Filter (12 Words)
- Admin-Panel
- Java-Dialog Translations (9/58 Strings)

Well it will take some time, i done about 90% atm. need to translate about 500 Strings, and then check all things.

I will announce it here and on my website.

Hope that makes something clear.

Dennis Alexander

I have now translated nearly all content o Resources.xml. I have translated 3675 Lines plus i have checked them line for line with Word and my eyes. It will be included the "Sie"-Version with the latest german Grammar and so on. The frontend is completly translated (excluding the JavaScript)

I am currently at the point, that i have translated all resources, but i will have to check them.

I have now translated all Strings in all Files i have been got. It was a huge work. I will now have to check them all for correctness. If there is someone, who wants to have a test-version please let me know.

You can preview it on my website.
