DanMorin (8/30/2005)
I read the documentation at http://docs.instantasp.com/InstantForum/default.html?page=moderateposts.html and I cannot find how to move a post from one topic to another thread. I would suggest an option for the moderator to move the selected posts to another topic. Currently the moderator can approve, queue, delete the selected posts, but cannot move the posts. Hi Dan, This is planned. We are intending to move all moderator options (move, pin, close, delete) to utilize Ajax. We have already made a start on this for some moderation features within our v4.1 release due this week. This release will also fix around 26 bugs from the v4.0 release. We've added the ability to merge / split topics to our feature tracking tool for an early v4.x release.
 Kindest Regards,
Ryan Healey Director / Developer

| Hi Ryan. Has this option (splitting topics and/or moving a post from one topic to another) been added yet? Thanks Oded

That particular move feature is unlikely to be implemented in the product as a base offering. Forums are about structured flowing discussion in designated threads/topics, if you can jumble the posts up, the linear nature of discussion is lost. However, users with developers licenses are of course fully able to implement this themselves.
