Hi, and first off - congratulations on what looks like a very promising forum system. I've already sent you a query via the feedback page which I won't repeat here, but there's a couple other points I'd like to make. The "previous"/"next navigation is usable for short threads, but on the site I maintain, threads are regularly hundreds of posts long and a page-numbered navigation system would be great. I'll probably be purchasing a developer license, so it will get implemented one way or the other, but I think it would be a good feature to provide as standard anyway. When posting, you're returned to the first page of the thread - which personally, I find annoying on multi-page threads, would be nice to be returned to the spot I left off. The WYSIWYG editor is interesting - I have an alternative in mind which I'd either insert into the forum application, or I'd use the existing forum editor elsewhere on the site depending on the functionality/cost comparison. Does our license allow us to use the editor outside the forum? The status given to members (e.g. Newbie member, Forum Administrator) - are they configurable? And what defines the names assigned? Number of posts etc? All the best, Gary

Hi Gary, Thank you for your post and kind words regarding the forum software. Your suggestions are great and i'll make sure they are including within the next release which will be available on next revision of the knowledge base is released. Regarding the WYSIWYG this will be greatly enhanced in the next release of both the forums and kb but yes it is perfectly ok to remove our editor and replace with a 3rd party editor. Of course you will lose the emoticons that are available within the forums editor. The status that is given to members is based on the number of posts they make. As an administrator of the forums you can change a members status to read anything you wish. There is a free-text field within the administration pages which if populated will override the default member status. I hope this answers your questions - thanks again for your kind words and suggestions. If you have any further ideas please don't hesitate to contact me
 Kindest Regards,
Ryan Healey Director / Developer

Just an after-thought in relation to using numbered thread navigation - for multiple-page threads, it would be handy to display the page numbers near the thread replies so that if you're not a newcomer to the thread, you can decide where you want to jump in. Hope that's of use to you, Gary
