I would like to see a group of admin tools specifically for the cleanup of a forum database. Typically the tools should allow the admin to:
  1. Delete old users - older than X days/months and then add filters like
    • Where user has never posted
    • Where user has no logins since x date
    • Where user still "Awaiting Activation" (bogus email or orphaned user)
  2. List Topics with no replies - Delete All and Checkbox interface to selectively delete these topics
  3. Delete Unhooked Attachments - Delete All and Checkbox interface to selectively delete attachments that have been orphaned
  4. PM Clean - We admins have no facility to easily clear this mess. Ive got 6000 PMs and Im bettng most are just lazy about cleaning up. I send a msg here and there about tidying up but maybe a higher level ability to clear out all PMs either
    • Older than X days/months
    • Older than X days/months but only in a particular folder (like deleted folder or let us select which folders so we could clean out old sent items or just purge users deleted stuff that they have simply forgotten to EMPTY)
  5. Delete Old Users Avatars/Sigs - Maybe you want to keep the users but because they're ancient (years with no logins etc) or you dont want to lose a good thread or forget who started it, we could keep the user but drop the bulky items like images for avatars and sigs... simply cleaning these out would save some room but keep the important parts.
