We are pleased to announce the release of InstantForum.NET v1.2.

This update now supports forums categories a highly requested feature. All existing customers will receive this update free of charge.

This update now uses a custom ASP.NET user control for displaying the forums and groups. The control can be found within the controls directory and is called "forumgroups.ascx". You will need to include this control on the default.aspx page and remove the old DataGrid control.

This update also includes a new database table to hold the forum groups. We have created a dbsetup.txt document within the applications root to describe the functionality of this new table and it's relationship to the InstantForum_Forums table.

We would welcome any upgrade questions from existing users. We sincerely hope you find this new feature a useful addition.
