Any way to increase page size beyond default of 10 within InstantKB?

Many of the grid views (e.g. Staff CP - Manage Comments & Admin CP - Manage Members)  are set to page at 10 records which is a very small number for my organization. This makes management much more cumbersome than it has to be.

It would be much easier to manage if I could increase this paging limit (e.g. to 50 or even 100 on a grid view) but I can see any way to do this. Is there a config file I could manually edit or is this grid view paging limit hard coded into the page?

Hi Tom,

Hope your very well. Great Question. You certainly can modify the number of records displayed per page for any datagrid within InstantKB.NET.

You will simply need to modify the view for the repective datagrid within your Admin CP. . I've attached a screengrab below to assist...

https://community.instantasp.co.uk/Uploads/Images/d900c745-f53d-4710-9b95-9716.gif

You will then list a list of views available under the knowledgebase tab...

Lets say for example you wanted to modify the number of results displayed per page when managing articles within the Staff CP you will need to edit the "Manage Articles"view. Click the Edit View button next to the Manage Articles built-in view and you'll see the following page...

You can update the number of default results displayed per page as shown above. Once modified you'll need to click the "Save View"button for the changes to take effect.

You can modify the views for any tab. You may also find the following video helpful...

Hi Ryan,

I meant the gridviews in the Admin CP and Staff CP such as the gridview when managing members shown below. Unless I'm missing something, the views only control gridviews on the KB side.

Not a big deal if not possible, but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask.

Sorry for my delay. I'm afraid you can't customize the columns displayed within the gridviews when managing members.

You can certainly customize the columns when managing articles within the Staff CP. Again you would do this via the view option within the Admin CP but select the Staff CP view to modify.

Similar to custom fields within InstantKB.NET articles we are developing a custom field system for profiles as part of our InstantASP.Common framework so you can expect to see the ability for custom user profile field in both products in the future. Once this work is complete we'll very likely look at the ability to customize & add columns to the manage members grid.

Please don't hesitate to respond if you have any further requirements as they may make it in future updates :)
