InstantKB Problem

Hi There,

Hope your very well. Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums :)

The file "Following.aspx" does not actually exist as a file within the forum. We use a URL rewriting rule to load the BuddyIgnoreList.aspx page as shown below...

<Rule Value="~/Following.aspx">BuddyIgnoreList.aspx?Task=ViewingFollowing</Rule>

I would check to ensure you have this rule within your URLRewrite.config file (within the root of your forum installation). Also check you have the actual file BuddyIgnoreList.aspx within the root of your forum installation also.

If the problem persists please don't hesitate to respond here or open a support ticket.
Kindest Regards,

thx a lot about ur response.

i have fixed the problem :

bcoz i have copy the file in a child directory, then i have add the directory to the all Rules as follow

<Rule Value="~/ChildFolder/Following.aspx">BuddyIgnoreList.aspx?Task=ViewingFollowing</Rule>

as mentioned in your company documentation. but it isn't the case with following.aspx & follower.aspx.

when i remove ChildFolder they work properly.

Now, i ask if there are any other Rules do the same ?

Hi, Thank you for your response. I'm pleased to hear you have this working. Your quite correct. If your installing the forum in a standard child directory (not marked as a web application within IIS) you will need to update the rules within the URLRewrite.config file to include your directory name.

You can read more on this and find examples at the link below...

If we can assist further please don't hesitate to respond,
Kindest Regards,

Ryan Healey
